TRACK 1: Economics, Finance and Accounting

 

It examines the interdependence between financial management, economic analysis, and accounting information as the foundation for evidence-based strategic decision-making. It focuses on the study of models and practices that strengthen organizational competitiveness, fiscal sustainability, and comprehensive stakeholder management in the public and private sectors, from both theoretical and applied perspectives.

TRACK 2: Human Talent Management and Organizational Behavior

This course examines contemporary strategies for attracting, developing, and retaining human capital, taking a comprehensive view of individual and collective behavior within organizations. It promotes theoretical and empirical analysis of factors related to leadership, organizational culture, and performance management, with the aim of advancing our understanding of the mechanisms that influence the effectiveness and sustainability of organizational performance in various work environments.

TRACK 3: Ethics, Sustainability and Social Responsibility

It addresses the integration of ethical principles, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility into corporate strategy, from a leadership-oriented perspective that focuses on economic, social, and environmental impact. It promotes the study of conceptual frameworks and practices that explain how business ethics and sustainable management contribute to value creation, strengthen institutional reputation, and mitigate risks, evolving beyond philanthropy toward strategic management aligned with contemporary standards and regulations.

TRACK 4: Entrepreneurship

 

Analiza el emprendimiento como un fenómeno que vincula la acción emprendedora con el desarrollo socioeconómico y la mejora de la calidad de vida. Se orienta a estudios que examinan la educación emprendedora, los perfiles e intenciones emprendedoras, los ecosistemas de soporte y la contribución del emprendimiento a la consolidación de una cultura empresarial dinámica e innovadora. Integra enfoques teóricos y empíricos que permiten comprender su papel en la transformación de las organizaciones y en la generación de valor social y económico.

TRACK 5: Organizational Studies

The Organization Studies track at CLADEA aims to constitute a plural space for
debate on organizations, organizing, and organizational processes in their
multiple manifestations interdisciplinary tradition, it
welcomes interpretive, critical, historical, institutional, cultural, political, and
practice-based approaches that examine how collective action is produced,
stabilized, contested, and transformed in concrete contexts. Consistent with
CLADEA’s Latin American vocation, the focus lies on organizations embedded
in realities marked by structural inequalities, institutional heterogeneity, and
hybrid economies. The track encourages research on how power, identity,
knowledge, technology, work, territory, sustainability, and governance are
configured in the Global South, and how organizational theories circulate, are
appropriated, translated, and contested in Latin America. The track also
promotes reflection on the production of knowledge in Organizational Studies,
understanding the field as a space of dialogue, controversy, and collective
construction rather than merely the application of analytical models. It seeks to
articulate theoretical rigor, contextual sensitivity, and social relevance, thereby
advancing the field through perspectives rooted in Latin American experiences
and in dialogue with international debates.

TRACK 6: Marketing

 

This track examines marketing as a strategic discipline focused on the creation, communication, and management of value in competitive and social environments. It focuses on research that examines institutional positioning, community loyalty, and ethical customer acquisition, integrating value proposition, user experience, and strategic communication as central pillars. It promotes the theoretical and applied study of responsible and sustainable marketing within the framework of digital transformation and stakeholder orientation.

TRACK 7: General Management and Strategy

 

This track examines high-level strategic decision-making focused on competitive positioning and long-term organizational sustainability. It promotes research on the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of corporate strategies, as well as on the leadership processes that drive tactical and operational effectiveness. It integrates theoretical and empirical perspectives that contribute to understanding the role of top management in value creation and in helping organizations adapt to dynamic and global contexts.

TRACK 8: Innovation and Innovation Management

 

This track examines the interrelationship between technological and organizational innovation and the management practices that facilitate their development and implementation. It focuses on research that examines structural, pedagogical, and administrative change processes aimed at promoting sustainable innovative environments. It also fosters debate on innovation ecosystems, public policy, and the role of business schools as agents of transformation in creating value and institutional competitiveness.

TRACK 9: AI and ICTs in the company’s projects, operations and logistics

This track promotes research on the application of artificial intelligence and information technologies in the comprehensive management of projects, operations, and business logistics. It focuses on analyzing how these tools optimize critical processes, redefine operational models, and transform decision-making. It includes studies on automation, technology risk management, ethical and organizational challenges, as well as the socioeconomic impact resulting from their adoption in corporate and production contexts.

TRACK 10: Teaching Cases

This track focuses on the presentation and analysis of real-world business cases that illustrate the complexity of leadership, strategy, and organizational decision-making processes. It promotes applied study and critical reflection that link academic theory with professional practice, fostering knowledge construction through the discussion of solutions and methodologies used in various business contexts. It provides a space to explore pedagogical and research approaches that strengthen the practical understanding of managerial work.

TRACK COLLOQUIUM: Doctoral Colloquium

This track focuses on the presentation and analysis of real-world business cases that illustrate the complexity of leadership, strategy, and organizational decision-making processes. It promotes applied study and critical reflection that link academic theory with professional practice, fostering knowledge construction through the discussion of solutions and methodologies used in various business contexts. It provides a space to explore pedagogical and research approaches that strengthen the practical understanding of managerial work.
