The “First International Publishers Meeting” was held with great success, bringing together researchers and academics from various regions of the world. CLADEA thanks the speakers: Nestor U. Salcedo, Ph.D. Fellow in Economics, Management, and Organizations, Editor in Chief (i) of the Journal of Economics, Finance and Administrative Science (JEFAS), ESAN Graduate School of Business, Peru; Carlos Pombo B., Director Finance Area, ARLA, Editor in Chief, School of Management, Universidad de los Andes, Colombia; Ralf Müller, Professor of Project Management BI Norwegian Business School, Oslo, Norway, Editor-in-Chief, Project Management Journal, Norway and Juan Pablo Viteri, Editorial Director “Revista Estudios Gerenciales”, ICESI University, Colombia, for their valuable contribution.
The moderator of the Meeting was Dr. Nancy Matos, president of the CLADEA Academic Committee, who together with the speakers analyzed the challenges faced by publishers in the current context that LATAM is going through; the main aspects that each Journal values when they decide to publish, etc. They also provided key recommendations for getting their research published and highlighted.
It should be noted that Xavier Ordeñana, President and Manuel Ortiz de Zevallos, Executive Director of CLADEA respectively, highlighted the notable interest in strengthening the quality of research in LATAM and invited attendees to present their Paper at the “57th International Congress # CLADEA2022”, called: “Building from Business Schools a future with equity and sustainability”. It will take place from October 21 to 26 under the modality of a hybrid event in Guayaquil – Ecuador. The host institution is the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral – ESPOL through its ESPAE Business School and the Faculty of Social and Humanistic Sciences – FCSH.
