The Latin American Council of Management Schools – CLADEA, the Tecnológico of Costa Rica, INCAE Business School and the Universidad Latina, organized on September 2 the “First Central American Meeting of Business Schools”, an event that strengthened Business Education and Administrative Sciences in Central America with a regional approach of global impact.
Among the main conferences, we had, “Strategic Management of Business Schools in Central America”, by Dr. Bernard Kilian, Dean of INCAE Business School, Costa Rica; the Panel: “Accreditations of MBA and MSc programs: Challenges and profile of the graduate students;
CLADEA Membership, Best Practices: Tecnológico de Costa Rica, Universidad Latina”, which had as speakers Dr. Laura Ramírez Saborío, Executive Director of SINAES – National System of Higher Education Accreditation, Costa Rica; Dr. Federico Li, Director of the Universidad Estatal a Distancia – UNED and representative of CONARE – National Council of Rectors; Dr. Grettel Alfaro Rojas, Executive Director of CONESUP – National Council for Private University Higher Education. Also, the presentation: CLADEA and Business Schools of Central America: Success Stories, where Dr. Ronald Alvarado Cordero, Dean – School of Business Administration of the Instituto Tencológico of Costa Rica, and Dr. Ronny A. González Hernández, Dean, Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences, Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, spoke. Dr. Juan Diego Sánchez Sánchez, Ph.D – Asesor financiero empresarial, abogado e investigador – en la charla: “Impacto de las Escuelas de negocios: una guía práctica.
Finally, the conferences: “Impact of Business Schools in the Central American market: Practical Guide”, given by Dr. Daniel Suchar Zomer, Doctor of Business Sciences, Professor of MBA Programs, Dissemination Analyst in International Finance and Specialist in Petroleum Chemical Engineering, and the Workshop: “Gaps and Problems of Business Schools: Disruptive Solutions in times of uncertainty”, whose speaker was Dr. José Martínez Villavicencio, Coordinator of the Research Center – CIADEG. Technological Business Administration School of Costa Rica, were both held with critical acclaim.
