As leaders and those responsible for promoting internationalization in our institutions, we encounter various challenges in the implementation of strategies, one of them student mobility
and of the faculty for the benefits that derive from it. Likewise, there are barriers that do not make these opportunities accessible to everyone, either due to the limitations of being absent from the country for a long period, or also due to the demand for financial resources that this activity requires, both for the institutions and for the families of our young students.
At CLADEA, aware of this reality, and of the need to bring solutions to member schools, we launched CLADEA COIL in 2019. This launch was made prior to the pandemic based on the experience of more than fifteen years in the use of virtual communication technologies in international education and the implementation of methodologies such as COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) Rubin (2015) and the Link Class, Rutwkoski et.al (2008), Olivos Rossini (2016). These methodologies have allowed us to connect more than 10,000 students and their teachers around the world in a sustainable way to date. The CLADEA COIL team supports you in creating these meetings with the necessary coordination, locating the appropriate partner and providing the platform link to make your experience the best.
The existing literature has shown the positive impact of the use of technologies in the learning process in international environments, the acquisition of various skills in students, the promotion of faculty relationships that contribute to the creation of opportunities for research, among others. benefits.
We invite you to learn more about CLADEA COIL in this space and to participate actively!
This is a collaborative SESSION previously coordinated by CLADEA COIL. It is conducted between two professors denominated: PRESENTER and HOST, located in different geographic spaces. The virtual session is carried out in real time (synchronous). The PRESENTING professor presents a topic or conference to the CLASSROOM of the HOST professor, who meets virtually with his students and/or colleagues taking an active part in the question-and-answer session.
Incorporating in the classroom the concept of “Internationalization of the curriculum”, which provides students with new knowledge and/or focus for the topics that are included in the syllabus of their course. It offers opportunities of Academic collaboration and research to the participating professors.
Professors belonging to institutions members of CLADEA and professors from institutions not affiliated to CLADEA.

The “Link Class” Program of CLADEA is an interesting opportunity for universities to promote internationalization in a single manner and at low cost. For the professors, it generates the opportunity to share their experiences with other colleagues and students from institutions of the region, which can open other possible collaborations of professor, student exchange, of research, among others

The Link Class program has allowed me to contact other colleagues and share knowledge and experiences with young students from other educational institutions from other countries of the region, who have had the opportunity to hear other points of view enriching their formation. I congratulate and thank CLADEA for the opportunity and invite other colleagues to participate in this program, which promotes the internationalization of our educational ecosystem
